With a Red Seal in Joinery, Yoshi began his travels in woodworking at Camosun College in the Fine Furniture program. Experience working for a heritage restoration shop and a cabinetry shop broadened his skills to see many different types of projects through to completion, including both residential and commercial.
Yoshi loves to solve puzzles by creating functional beauty. Functionality is a value that is woven into his work and way of life. Yoshi won a design award in the program at Camosun which represents his ability to combine the parameters of a project with practicality and beauty.
Yoshi was born in Japan and has called Victoria, BC his home since 2012 where he lives with his wife, Beth.
